Senior Software Developer - Python/React

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team and work on cutting-edge projects using the latest technologies. The tech stack you’ll be working on consists from Python  for backend, React for frontend and everything is run on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using our stack mentioned above

• Constant collaboration with the product team regarding features and user stories

• Ownership of your tasks until they are complete (deployed to production) and ownership of your code when it’s in the production environment

• Active collaboration with your team and beyond including participation in planning, demos, and contributing to best practices within your team and beyond

• Collaborate with software architects and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications using the stack mentioned above.

• Write clean and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure high quality and reliability.

• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to existing applications.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continually enhance your technical expertise.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software development

• Strong proficiency in Python and either Django framework for building efficient server-side applications

• Solid understanding of React and its core principles, with experience in creating modern, scalable web applications

• Experience utilizing New Relic or similar tools for application monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

• Track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
