IT Engineer (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Intune)
Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina | Full-time | Office-based

About the role

Salt Square is looking for an IT Engineer to join our infrastructure and security team supporting a US healthcare client. You will execute hands-on remediation and cleanup work across a Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, working under the guidance of our senior engineers who own the architecture and policy decisions. This is a great role for someone with a few years of IT administration experience who wants to grow into cloud identity and security engineering.

What you will do

  • Remediate and re-enrol Windows devices in Intune and restore endpoint security agents (CrowdStrike) on devices that have stopped reporting

  • Clean up stale guest accounts, unused licences and inactive user accounts in Entra ID

  • Review SharePoint and OneDrive sites: ownership, external sharing, inactive-site archiving and leaver data handover

  • Work through remediation tickets, document what was done and keep runbooks up to date

  • Support senior engineers during testing and rollout of Conditional Access, compliance and update policies

  • Flag anomalies and risks you find during cleanup work

Job requirements

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT administration or support in a Microsoft environment

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SharePoint and OneDrive

  • Experience managing Windows devices (enrolment, BitLocker, Windows updates, software deployment)

  • Comfortable with PowerShell for routine admin and reporting tasks

  • Methodical and careful: you follow change procedures, test before you enforce and document your work

  • Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike or another EDR tool

  • Familiarity with Azure fundamentals (resource groups, networking, storage)

  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, MD-102 or SC-900

  • Experience in a healthcare or other regulated environment
